duit an Eoraip! Hola! Czolem! Merhaba! Hello Europe!
In
order to commemorate Europe Day, it is envisaged that Gaelscoil
Ó’Doghair would co-ordinate and recreate Europe within
the school, the community of Newcastle West, Co. Limerick and in
schools within Europe itself in collaboration with their communities
in Spain, UK, Northern Ireland, Poland and Turkey. It will be a
day of celebration of the unity and inclusivity of Europe and the
multi-culturism and diversity of our modern European society. Pupils,
teachers, parents and members of the communities together will develop
a deeper appreciation of their bond to a modern, vibrant and envisioned
Europe.
Listed
below are some activities that will inspire enthusiasm in us, the
citizens of the European Union. It is our aim that these events
will instil a sense of pride and encourage our pro-active participation
as lifelong Learners and citizens in the EU of the present and the
future.
